Love is something that is God-given. We are all born with love in us, even the worse people are born with love in them. We have the power to love who we choose and how we want to love people in general, our mothers and fathers, our friends and our significant others or that special someone. Hate is something that can consume you and eventually create illness in your body and maybe even kill you. We’d like to think everyone loves everyone, but that’s not the case, still I would rather love than not!
The Beatles sang ‘love is all you need’ but they didn’t explain how to get it. The lyrics are more about acceptance of what is, which is certainly part of it (‘There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done’). Someone else told me, ‘If you don’t have enough love, give it.’
Because God said so…yep…pretty much sums it up. 🙂
